At The Spice Emporium, we believe in sharing our passion and love for fantastic vegetarian Indian food.
With this in mind, we opened The Snack Bar, our restaurant situated inside our Flagship store at 31 Monty Naicker Road, Durban.
The Snack Bar takes inspiration from the riotous colours, vibrancy and flavours of Indian Street food, or ‘chaat,’ as it’s known in India.
Chaat is the Indian version of fast food whereby people stop, stand, and have a quick snack on the side of the road, either on their way to or from work or as a break from shopping.
These fun, tapas-style snacks are filled with interesting flavours from salty to sweet to sour to spicy, often all in one bite!
Our menu includes a variety of authentic Indian Street food including chaat, light meals and traditional drinks.
All our food is made fresh, using spices and products available right in our store.
