I was chatting to my sister this morning and was telling her I had just bought a new 100ml Robertsons vanilla essence this morning. She lives in Northern Ireland and has been there since 2001. In Northern Ireland you cannot buy vanilla essence at a reasonable price, as delivery charges for a small bottle is 15 pounds! Her bottle, which I took over in 2005 was finished. Going through her baking supplies over the weekend, she found a bottle wrapped in tissue in a plastic bag, expiry date 2001. She said it still tastes and smells delicious. She wanted me to share her delight with you 🙂
